Second Chance Art Mart

Barnstone Arts For Kids is hosting its first annual arts and crafts rummage sale, and they need your help!

Do You Have Arts and Crafts Supplies Sitting in Your Closet?

Hiding under your bed? Maybe stashed in a box in your basement? We want them! We are accepting donations at designated drop off locations now through May 11, 2024.

What for?

Join us on Sunday, June 9th at our Second-Chance Art Mart. This summer kick off event will have craft stations and summer treats while guests rummage through all of the community donated items. Don’t miss this opportunity to stock up on the supplies you love, discover a new art medium or let your kids explore new ways to create!  All proceeds benefit Barnstone Arts For Kids.

Barnstone Art for Kids addresses Adverse Childhood Experiences (abuse, neglect, household dysfunction) as a public health concern and has specifically developed the Power of Art, a trauma informed skill building program, to reduce the risk of poor outcomes for children suffering adversity.

The Power of Art includes a creative full-year curriculum that encourages the development of healthy life skills by pairing a child with a compassionate mentor to create and explore art in a safe, positive environment. Our programs are provided to children who have experienced trauma at no cost to the family.
