Who is Artifaqt?
John Luttmann, the creator of Artifaqt, has been working out of 15 S Main Street since 1983. Through the years he’s built a family business centered around making, sharing food, and gathering community. The flying cherub featured here is a prime example of their work. This piece is from a series of sculptures made by Artifaqt for Georgetown Park in DC back in 1994. The cherubs opened the door to Artifaqt's largest project of 40 years, Ohana, the family restaurant at Disney's Polynesian Resort in Florida.
